AWO Code of Conduct

In reviewing the By Laws it was observed that the AWO organisation did not have a Code of Conduct for its members. The following Code was drafted, vetted, and approved by the AWO Board in December 2023.

Several issues have come up over the past 50 years which would have benefited by having a code in place with identified remedies and procedures which can be taken by the Board and Membership.

One-member of the AWO membership will be identified as the point person for complaints to be lodged. That individual will rotate over a 2 year term and report to the Board with confidential information obtained from individuals who directly observed the infraction.
